June 16 MSN PROBLEMS?I received an email from STEVE, Progressive Pilgrim, who said this:
I'm finally trying to getting around to returning some visits. I got to your space, read several entries, and then attempted to leave a comment on one of them.
It locked my system up! That has not happened since I switched to broadband. I had to unplug the cable modem, replug, and then also reboot my system. Yours is the ONLY space I have had trouble with so far, and I have visited about 20 today so far. I remember having this problem once before trying to leave a comment for you, and I assumed at the time that it was ME, or rather my crappy old machine and software. That definitely is NOT the case now however.
SOOOO.....is anyone else having trouble with my space? If you cant leave a comment, send me your reply in an email. THANKS
I was listening to the radio and heard an ad for the new movie "The Break Up", starring Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn. In this clip, J shouted to V..."We were on vacation". This sounds very similar to an episode of Friends, where Ross shouted to Rachael...."We were on a break". Even though I havent seen the movie, and probably wont, I can still have my review. I think that movie is just a long 105 minute episode of Friends. You can subsitute Ross and Rachael, and have the same effect. I'll give it a 1/2 a beer.
The last I checked, our President of the United states gets a salary of $400,000, but after his term is over, the skies the limit.
Life after the White House has proved lucrative for former President Clinton, who made nearly $7.5 million in speaking fees last year and sometimes got as much as $350,000 for a single appearance. Clinton made a staggering $650,000 for just two appearances in two days before major gatherings in Canada by motivational speaker Tony Robbins, according to the financial disclosure report filed Wednesday by his wife, New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.
The 42nd president made 42 paid appearances around the globe. Gold Service International, a Bogota-based business development group, paid Clinton $800,000 for four days of appearances in Mexico, Colombia and Brazil last June. In September, he received $125,000 for appearing via videoconference from New York. For those who have asked, there is no progress in Yu Yi's immigration. The paperwork is still in the United States. I was told the process has been taking 3-4 months in the US, and then another 3-4 months in China after the paperwork is forwarded to China. I mailed my paperwork in early March.
I think its time for a new law, and no explanation is needed. IIWK....No fliers shall be left on anyones windshield or front door of home.
Chinese word of the day Hu zhao......(who chow)......passport
