I survived another hot weekend, it was ONLY a high of 109 in Chandler. It usually dips below 100 around 9 pm. :)

Lots of garage sales this weekend, but not much buying. I bought 12 items for $11.75, with 6 of the items being first edition older books. One of my blogger friends told me to keep an eye on transformer toys which are collectable. I bought my first one on Saturday for $1. I know its not old and I researched it but cant find out what its called. In Ebay news, my $4 blue Bauer bowl sold for $60.

And in a clumsy move, I was packing my 10 cent bugs/taz piggy bank, in anticipation of an Ebay sale. Unfortunately, I broke the ear on bugs, and had to contact the bidder and unlist the item. It can be repaired, but I dont know if it will sell now.

The freezing issues with MSN spaces seems to have gone away, ever since I downloaded Internet Explorer 7.0. Nothing is in the same place anymore, this new browser is going to take some time to get used to.

Why should you get paid if you quit your job or get fired???? Larry Brown, ex coach of the New York Knicks has done it again. He will get paid $40 million over 4 years to NOT coach the team. Last year he got paid $7 million by the Detroit Pistons to NOT coach their team. And he did the same thing in his 3 previous jobs with the Philadelphia 76ers, Indiana Pacers and the LA Clippers.

IIWK...... The Geico commercial is banned from TV. I am so sick of that lizard!!!!!!!!!!!!

I couldnt stand the race course for the Dodge/Save Mart 350, maybe someone should ban Nascar road races. And the outcome turned my stomach too...right KIM?

The corp of engineers had a new set of pullys running to the bottom of the dam, on Lake Lanier, the reserve of water here, forgot to readjust the chains to the bottom, different size pully wheels. Should have stuck their heads out of the control room, the home owners and business on the lake had been calingl for a week, something was dropping the lake fast.........& the Lizard should be put out to stud....he's run his course.......:-) McTell......... Right now our temp is only 50 degrees...and it's been raining for 2 days. Nice for a change. A gentle, but steady rain, no thunder or lightning (rare we get that here). I wish I could send it your way. I cancelled my Costco run to Anchorage today after hydroplaning on the main road when I took Kyle to basketball camp. I made it a laundry day instead. I don't either, they have run that commercail long enough, it's time to get a new one. IE 7 is sure different.
